Fiesta goers in Calasparra are a hardy lot!
Despite a late night at the Verbena they never doubted rising for the «Diana» and the early morning mass this morning (Monday) before taking the figures of the Patron Saints out onto the streets for a light hearted procession.
Traditionally the Fiesta of the Patron Saints is about music and fun with two concerts: rock and roll on Saturday night, and more traditionally, light pop sandwiching the ever popular Chunguitos as a traditional filling at the
Verbena last night.
Fun at the Grand Night of the Migas with throwing a grain of rice and a grape competitions; the Youth Games at the Bull Ring and the fact that these fiesta goers don´t take themselves too seriously make these fiestas unmissable year in, year out.
Today is the last day and the Association Band of Music will bring the curtain down with a Pasadobles concert in the Plaza de la Corredera, starting at 10.30pm.
