The annual fiestas of Calasparra are upon us already with a full programme of activities with something for everyone. They officially begin on August 24 and go through to September 13. The fiestas include the traditional pilgrimage to the Sanctuary and,of course, the bull runs and the bull fights. Here is the full programme:-

Before the match the veterans of Calasparra will play for 10 minutes against footballers of 4 to 10 years old from the Municipal Football School.
Entrance 3€. Children free
La Caverina Football Ground.
Proceeds from the tournament will go to two young footballers, Mario Mercader and Juan Martínez, who have been given grants to train in High Performance Centres, which do not cover their costs. The proceeds of the tickets will go towards their expenses.
