There will be a special Round Table of Experts to discuss Warfarin, the anticoagulant, which may be replaced by a oral alternative.
Known in Spain as “sintron” it is one of the top ten drugs and requires strict monitoring with regular blood tests.
The discussion has been organised by the Pharamcy Academy of Spanish Santa María of the Murcia Region with the collaboration of the Official College of Chemists and the Bayer Drugs company.
The meeting will be open to the public in the Casa de la Culture at 6pm on Thursday November 7.
