Calasparra will host a Festival of Poetry and Art to mark International Women´s Day on March 7.
The Festival has been organised by the International Movment of Women Poets and is one of a chain of events held internationally every year during March as a homage to women and a demonstration against domestic violence.
Under the title “The Cry of Women” the Festival will be held on March 7 at 8pm in the Municipal Auditorium and will include, poetry, music and other arts.
The Festival is organised locally by Antonia Soler Gomariz in conjunction with the Department of Equality at the Town Hall.
