The Spanish Government has announced this morning, Friday, that the interim arrangements agreed after Brexit, which guarantee health care in Spain for UK pensioners, will take effect immediately if there is no deal.
The agreement guarantees health care for UK nationals living in Spain who qualify, including pensioners, until next year, 2020, when EU regulations, agreed under Brexit will take effect.
This will come as welcome relief to UK nationals living in Spain who were concerned the health care arrangements would cease in event of a no deal Brexit.
