Following the floods at the Sanctuary in April last year when the River Segura invaded the lower terraces the President of the CHS (Water Board) Miguel Ángel Ródenas Cañada led a team to inspect the damage.
The President came to the Sanctuary with the Technical Director, a representative of the Water Commission and the Head of the Water Planning Office last Tuesday.
The visitors were able to see the extensive damage themselves and have agreed to take the necessary action to avoid a similar situation in the future.
