The Comunidad de Regantes del Embalse de Argos (the local farmers and small holders association) are holding an information meeting on Saturday August 3 to explain the implications of the new plan for mixed irrigation systems.
The meeting will be at 8pm in the Municipal Auditorium.
The object of the mixed plan, in which those who want modernisation can have it and those who don´t can continue to use the existing system of irrigation canals on the rota system, is to benefit from the European funds available for the second phase of improvements and modernisation of the irrigation systems in Calasparra.
