The Director General of INFO, Juan Hernández, visited Calasparra, at the invitation of the Mayor of Calasparra, Jesús Navarro, last Friday in an effort to try and regenerate the local industrial estate.
Information about the industrial estate will be included on a database of industrial land designed by INFO to inform business people and investors.
He also met with the workers from the Conserva Fernandez Canning plant to explain the current situation and pledged to visit the plant in the future to examine the infrastrucutures.
He also also asked for meeting with business people and retailers so technicians from INFO can explain the help and assistance that is available to this sector.
