The attack by Israel and the United States on Iran has already resulted in a rise in petrol and diesel prices.
According to the European Petrol Bulletin the price of petrol in Spain has risen to 1,486 euros a litre and diesel to 1,441 euros a litre.
These rises constitute an increase of one percent compared to last week.
Filling an average tank of 55 litres in Spain will now cost around 82 euros and 79 euros for diesel.

There have also been unconfirmed reports of a 70 percent increase in the price of natural gas and increases in electricity bills.
When the invasion of Ukraine affected prices the Government took measures to reduce the affect on consumers. According to reports the Government is considering taking similar action if the increases continue or spiral out of control.
