People having problems paying their rent can apply for help from the 20.4 million euros transferred by the Spanish Government to the regional government as one of the extraordinary measures taken during the Covid-19 crisis.
The period for applications started on June 1 and ends on September 30.
The assistance consists of up to 500 euros monthly for six months and aims to help families who are having problems paying their rent due to the crisis and prevent repossessions.

Unemployed, ERTE, workers on short time and low income families should apply as well as families who have more than 35% of their current income tied up in rent and utility bills.
