The three Magic Kings will travel 239 kilometres around the most populated parts of the region of Murcia over three days and two nights to bring Christmas to disadvantaged youngsters.
Organised by the Ermita de Burgos and the Spanish Red Cross the “Travesía solidaria” (The Kings’ Crossing) will pass through Calasparra on December 7 at 10am.
The aim of the project is to bring toys to the children of families experiencing difficulties due to the crisis but also to deliver basic necessities such as nappies, milk, potties etc.
The Red Cross are also collecting non perishable foodstuffs to distribute amongst the families.
How Can You Help? By donating 5 euros which will go towards buying food, toys and basic necessities. The donations can be made to the Red Cross account (Cruz Roja) at Cajamurcia: 0487 0001 68 2000529820.
Or by donating basic necessities for babies and children or non perishable foodstuffs which can be donated from November 25 at a special collection point in the Plaza de la Corredera.

The itinerary for the project is December 6: Alhama de Murcia, Totana, Aledo, Pliego, Mula, Bullas, Cehegin, Caravaca de la Cruz, Moratalla (9 municipal areas in 14 hours) 114 km.
December 7: Moratalla, Calasparra, Cieza, Abaran, Blanca, Ricote, Ojos, Villanueva del Rio segura, Ulea, Arechena, Ceuti, Lorqui ( 11 municipal areas in 10 hours) 92 km.
Day 8: Lorqui, Molina de Segura, Alguazas, Las Torres de Cotillas, Javali Nuevo, Alcantarilla, Ermita de Burgos Nonduermas, Murcia (7 municipal areas in 4 hours) 33 km.
