Three walkers, who were lost and carrying inadequate supplies of water in an inaccessible part of the Almadenes Canyon, were rescued by helicopter yesterday afternoon.
The walkers called 112 emergency services for assistance at 3.30pm and reported that they were lost in the Mulata Dam area, which is totally inaccessible by foot.
A helicopter was called and the Air Rescue Team found the walkers and rescued them.
They were taken to their vehicle unharmed and did not require any medical intervention.
