Fire fighters brought a forest fire in the Sierra de Pajares, near El Salmerón, in Moratalla, under control with the aid of a helicopter from Forestry Brigade base in Pila on Friday May 5.
The fire started at just after 5pm but by 6.20pm the helicopter was able to return to base as the fire was under control.
