The majority of the Murcia region is designated “low” or “medium to high” risk of contagion with Covid-19 and this brings a relaxation of some of the restrictions.
Firstly, the night curfew changes and will begin at 11pm instead of 10pm.
Social gatherings in private homes will be allowed for up to four people in the same house. Up to six people are permitted on a table on bar and restaurant terraces and up to four people per table inside.
The regional perimeter of the region of Murcia remains closed.
These measures come into effect from Wednesday April 14.
The only exceptions are Puerto Lumbreras, which remains at “extreme risk,” with the municipal boundary closed and only bar and restaurant terraces open; and Torre Pacheco, which changes to a yellow alert, with the municipal boundary open and bars and restaurants allowed to open their interior spaces.
Vaccinations for those aged between 75 to 79 years continue this week at the Medical Centre in Calasparra.
Readers are reminded to stay alert for calls giving appointment times for vaccinations.
