The Government has cut IVA (VAT) on masks reducing their price to the consumer by 25%.
A mask will now cost a maximum of 0.72 euros as opposed to 0.96 euros before the move.
This is a measure to assure non abusive economic conditions for this protective health product, essential in the fight against Covid-19.
