On Friday night there was entertainment and fun as the youngsters of Calasparra competed in the Grand Prix of the Bulls, where various games – with and without Bulls – were performed by various five member Teams or «Pena’s» from around the town.
Each team had their own band of supporters, in vivid coloured T shirts, all cheering and shouting the participants of the games.
After a couple of hours of tumbles, dizziness and energy the games were won by Team Blanco and were presented with a large cup as a reward.
Once the games were over, a bull was let into the ring where many a young person acted out being a full blown Matador – not many had success !!
A good, fun evening for 3euros – worth every cent.
