After week of demonstrations and remonstrations the Pedreras Primary School will have a full time Special Needs Assistant from this week.
The representative of AMPA, the parent teacher association which organised the protests, Manoli García, told Radio Calasparra:
“A full time assistant for children with special needs was a commitment made by the Director General of Diversity, however, the delay in provision meant we had to protest. After protests, many phone calls and visits we have finally achieved our aim.”
