The local annual fiestas in Valentin will officially begin tonight, Saturday June 20, at 11pm with Flamenco music.

Saturday June 20
11pm Official inauguration with flamenco music.
Sunday June 21
7pm Book Presentation: In the Shadow of the Black Angel by local autor, Fulgencio Caballero (Pencho) in the old church.
Monday 22 and Tuesday 23 mornings
The cows will be let out and driven to the pens in Coto Los Riñales.
Tuesday June 23
6pm Inauguration of Photo Exhibition by Pedro Laforet. Open all week from 11am to 2pm.
8pm Floral tribute to patron saint of Valentin, St. John the Baptist.
11pm Opening speech by Cristobal Botia Fernandez.
12 midnight Chupinazo (shot) will signal the start of festivities.
