Fruit processors, López and Salinas will open a processing plant here in Calasparra at the end of March which will offer two months work for some 250 local people.
The local Town Hall has a conceded a warehouse to the company, which processes strawberries.
The work does not require any special qualifications.
Mayor of Calasparra, José Vélez, said the Town Hall was committed to creating local employment and would concede warehouses to companies who moved into Calasparra.
Anyone interested in this employment should go to the Work Centre, opposite the AGRA Cooperative, on Monday March 9 from 10am.
