The majority of Covid-19 cases in the Murcia region affects the under 12´s group as Spain awaits the authorization of the EU to vaccinate.
Last week there was a 45% increase in the number of contagions in the region compared to the previous week and the number of cases in the under 12´s group has reached 275 per 100,000 head of population.
The number of hospital admissions remains steady at 76 with patients´ ages ranging from 21 to 69 years old.
Of the 15 patients in intensive care, with ages ranging from 25 to 61 years, some 65% have not been vaccinated.
There were no deaths from the virus in the last 24 hours.
The statistics in the table below for Sunday may be artificially low due to the reduction in PCR tests at the weekend.
