FOUR DAYS LIVE FILMING FOR TV FUN COMPETITION

A special Night of the Migas will be the main event for Calasparra´s entry for national television´s competition to find the “The Most Fun Town In Spain.”
Everyone is invited to take part on February 8 in the Calle Madre Carmen del Niño Jesus, in front of the Saints Church.
The “peñas” ( youth groups and clubs) have been invited to show off their talents for the live television cameras and convince the judges that our town should take the away the converted title.
The traditional night of the migas normally takes place during the fiesta of the patron saints of Calasparra at the end of July. It is one of the few truly traditional events with a long history that still takes place in Calasparra and for this reason has been chosen to represent the traditons and culture of the town.
There will be prizes for the winners of the talent show and all expenses will be paid by the television company.
Live filming for the competition will also take place over February 8,9, 10 and 11 and residents have been asked to decorate the facades of their houses in the most fun way. The best entries will appear on national television!!
Get more information and sign on to be part of Calasparra´s entry at Radio Calasparra or simply turn up on February 8 for the special Migas Night.
