The “Biblioteca en la calle”, (Library in the Streets), brought the curtain down on Book Week in Calasparra and also coincided with St Georgeś Day (Dia de San Jorge) which,in Spain it is traditional to gift a book and a flower.
On a beautiful sunny Sunday children and adults were able to exchange books, listen to stories, buy books signed by local authors and listen to lectures at various stalls mounted in the Plaza de la Corredera.
