Work to prevent flooding in the south of Calasparra, worth nearly half a million euros, has been put out to tender by the regional Department of Agriculture and Water.
The 438,000 euro contract, which is for work on the drains and flood relief measures, will take four months and has been 80% financed by the EU Cohesion Fund.
The tendering process closes on June 23.
