This is Luca, five months old, looking for a caring owner or family to recover from the trauma of being injured, neglected and abandoned at the gate of the Dogs Rescue Refuge.
This little chap has an old fracture that has not healed probably and possibly a second in another paw. His owner practically threw this puppy in the face of a Dogs Rescue volunteer before rapidly making his escape.
The good news is the abandon was captured on camera and a report to SEPROM is pending.
Luca is in a poor state and will need medical attention. Obviously Dogs Rescue have taken Luca in. He will get all the attention he needs, however, this admirable asaociation would like to emphasise that they do not provide a service of «picking up or reception» and that their refuge, unfortunately, is always overflowing.
Our hearts go out to Luca but also to the long suffering volunteers at Dogs Rescue who have to deal with the total lack of responsibility and cruelty of some residents in Calasparra who should never be allowed to have any animals in their care. Hopefully this culprit will get his come uppance!!!!
If you can give Luca a caring home please contact Dogs Rescue or the Quipar Vets’ Clinic.
