The contagion rate of Covid-19 per head of population has fallen by 10 percent, according to the regional Health Authority but, sadly, over the past 24 hours five people have died of the virus.
There were 714 new cases of Covid-19 diagnosed in the past 24 hours.
The number of in patients with the virus in regional hospitals has fallen slightly to 312 with 13 patients in intensive care.
The death toll in the region from the virus has reached 2,286.
Nine active cases of the virus have been registered in Calasparra over the past seven days.
