SALDI, has officially presented the first ecological vegetable stall on Calasparra market today on Radio Calasparra.
Salvador, co-editor of the English language webpage, NEXOnr, was interviewed by the local radio station about the stall and the benefits of ecological produce.
SALDI is a small local ecological vegetable project which offers small quantities of ecological produce at prices everyone can afford under the name “El Ecologico.”
“We grow our vegetables with sun, water and lots and lots of hard work,” says Salvador, “and because we sell direct to the consumer without intermediaries our produce is very reasonably priced.”
SALDI offers healthy produce grown without any type of chemical or artificial fertilizers or pesticides under the logo: “From our garden for your table.”
The project has its official certificate from the Ministry of Agriculture and is annually inspected by the authorities.
The benefits of consuming organic produce range from regaining the original taste of the vegetables, which is a veritable blast from the past, to aiding in the fight against contaminating our bodies and polluting the planet.
The ecological stall “El Ecologica” will be located outside the gates of Cine Rosales.
