You probably think we’re having a laugh as we have just passed through the hottest heat wave in Spain for the last 30 years but its true, folks, today is officially the first day of summer in Spain.
Temperatures for today and the rest of week are likely to hover around the early 30´s with a vague possibility of showers this afternoon, lots of sunshine for the rest of the week and cooler nights.
Today is the longest day of the summer which officially ends on September 23.
