FIRES DESTROYS WOODS NEAR RIVER ARGOS

Firefighters from Caravaca and an emergency helicopter supported the local forestry brigade to extinguish a fire which destroyed two hectares of woodland along the River Argos.
The fire started about 9 am yesterday. The cause remains unknown.
