Saturday November 25 was the International Day Against Domestic Violence and, tragically, some 52 women have died in Spain at the hands of their partners or ex-partners: more than in the last three years.
In the last 24 hours two more women have been murdered by their partners or ex-partners, in one case a three year old child of the victim was also killed.
It is time that everyone woke up to this situation; challenge the behaviour and attitudes that lead to domestic violence and refuse to tolerate it.

Some 52 women and 51 children have died so far this year in Spain, victims of domestic violence. Some 1,237 women and 428 children have died as victims of domestic violeence since 2013.
