Is it Kenya? Is it Romania? No, it´s Senegal.
After several confusing announcements the guest performers at the Internationl Folklore Festival were from Senegal and they didn´t disappoint!!
The artists,the Ballet Folklórico Jammu, from the heart of Africa brought their colours, rhythms and sounds through traditional dances from Senegal. The spectacle was a mix of traditional and modern dance with energy and acrobatics to the beats of the tambores, Sabur. A show which brought the audience of Cine Rosales to their feet for a standing ovation.
The host group, the Rondalla, also brought surprises for the 21st edition of the festival.
They performed several new acts including a Jota de la Uva from Castilla de Mancha
and included new choreography from Fina Abril. They finished the show with traditional dances and songs from the region of Murcia.
