The Coffee Morning on Tuesday at the Plaza Pizzeria in aid of Dogs Rescue raised a massive 508 euros.
This entirely voluntary organisation, whihc takes in and cares for abanodned and mistreated dogs in Calasparra, is entirely dependent on donations and aftet the event sent this mesage to their supporters:
«Thank you to everyone that supported our coffee morning today. We raised a total of 508€ and a kind donation of dog food. This will help towards the vet and food bill. We couldn’t do this without you all. Thank you.»
The cakes and other goodies were also donated as were the raffle and bonus ball prizes.
This was a tremendous effort by all concerned!!
