Local school children were among
350 competitors in the North Zone Regional Schools Orienteering Trials held in
Sierra del Molino last Saturday, and 18 qualified for the finals.
The pupils, from the Esperanza and Molinos Primary Schools and the Emilio Perez
Piñero High School took part in the junior sections of the trials.
The event was organized by the Calasparra Orienteering Club, CARM and FORM and
are part of the Schools Orienteering League.
The finals will take place in La Alcayna, Sierra del Molino on May 4.
