On a day when the number of new cases recorded in the Murcia region drop by over 1,000, tragically eight more people have died of the virus.
The fatalities were six men and two women ages 68, 69, 72, 75, 80, 88, 89 and 98 years.
There were 4,357 new cases registered in the last 24 hours compared to 5,569 in the previous counting period.
