Local residents from Ecuador celebrated the Virgin de la Cisne (Virgin Swan) in the Merced Church on Saturday evening and filled the streets of Calasparra with colour, music and dance.
Sports trials, live music, dance, processions and exhibitions of typical South Amercian dances all formed part of the celebrations.
The fiesta was organised by the Ecuatorian Association of Calasparra and also attended by membes of the local Goverment Team, Antonio Merino, Nani Sánchez and Juan José López.
