On Monday morning at 1.46am there was an earthquake with an epicentre in Caravaca, 3.9 on the Richter scale and four kilometers underground, which caused no damage and no causalities.
Tremors were felt by residents in Cehegin, Bulla, Lorca, Mula, Yecla and Moratalla but no one has reported a sensation of the earth moving here in Calasparra.
Residents in Cenegin reported after shocks of between 1.5 and 2.1 on the Richter scale later in the morning. The last after shock was reported at 8.30am Monday morning.
