Dogs Rescue Calasparra will hold a fundraising coffee morning in the Pizzeria de la Plaza in Calasparra tomorrow, Tuesday, June 25 at 11am.
The cost is 3.50 per person and all funds go to the Association, which takes in abandoned and stray dogs and cares for them until they are adopted.
Dogs Rescue were forced to close their doors to any newly found animals this week due being well over capacity, a lack of fund and a lack of volunteers to help out during the summer.
The lack of volunteers is threatening the future of this worthwhile project as one of the principal assistants at the Centre will be unavailable this summer for medical reasons.
If you have a little or more time to spare please consider donating a few hours to these animals, the majority of which have been abandoned on the streets of Calasparra, in order to safeguard the future of Dogs Rexcue.
