There was an earthquake measuring three on the Richter Scale and six kilometres deep in an area of Jumilla this morning, Thursday.
The tremor was detected at 6.23am and was followed by two minor tremors 24 minutes and 26 minutes later.
Due to the depth of the tremors they did not disturb the residents and no damage was reported.
The South East of Spain has registered more than half a dozen small tremors during July.
Last February a tremor of 5.4 on the Richter Scale, with an epicentro in Albacete, was felt throughout the penisula.
