Today, Monday, is the final day of balmy autumn temperatures hovering around 18 degrees during the day and eight degrees at night and tomorrow evening the rain returns.
Predictions are for rain after seven in the evening and the daytime temperature on Tuesday will drop by a massive seven degrees and they will continue to fall during the week.
There will be sunshine for rest of the week despite the drop in temperatures although on Friday evening there may be some showers.
However, the big change comes at the weekend as December begins and the temperatures drop through the floor during the day to just eight degrees centigrade and the first freeze of the winter will arrive on Sunday night as the mercury falls below zero.
