Last year the Arrui goats in the Sierra Espuña were declared an “invasive species” by the Supreme Tribunal and an order was issued to cull the animals.
To date no action has been taken and we are all still able to enjoy these enchanting creatures on the hillsides in the Sierra de Espuña. However, not for long!
This week the Council which manages the Sierra, (Mancomunidad Turística de Sierra Espuña) presided over by the Mayor of Librilla, María del Mar Hernández, has demanded that the sentence of the Tribunal be carried out without delay.
