COVID-19 CASES DOWN BY 20% BUT HOSPITALS UNDER PRESSURE

The regional Covid-19 Tracing Committee has confirmed that the curve of the virus in the region has “settled down” with a fall of 20% but has warned that hospitals are still under pressure.
“The situation in our hospitals is still very worrying,” said a spokesperson.
The fall in cases is generalized in all the municipal areas of the region except Blanca, Alhama de Murcia, Puerto Lumbreras and Yecla where the fall in cases is slight.
The Murcia region is classified as “high risk” compared to the other regions which are classified as “extreme risk”.
“We think the measures we have taken are going in the right direction and we have a glimpse of the fruits of the collective effort that we have required from the society and from certain sectors,” added the spokesperson.
