Gusts of 30 kph
or more did not prevent 300 competitors taking part in the Regional League
Ducathlon organised by the Town Hall on Sunday.
The 11th edition of the trials entailed a five kilometres race on foot; 20K by
bicycle; and a 2.5k flat race.
Winners from Calasparra included Alejandro López (EDM Caravaca de la Cruz) and
Julia Marín (Club Triatlón Lorca) in the youth category; Pablo León (EDM
Caravaca de la Cruz) and Nieves Navarro (Tritones Murcia Sport Club), in the
junior category; and Jesús Montoya (Club Triatlón Caravaca) and Isabel Mª
Navarro (Club Triatlón Arabí Yecla Catlike), in the Cadet category.
