It´s that mad time of year again as Calasparra gears up for the Carnival from February 9 to February 18, with story telling, street parades and, of course, the chance to dress up and win cash prizes.
In Calasparra the residents take the fun of the Carnival very seriously and it seems as if everyone goes mad for a night. Night owls will find fancy dress from the extraordinary to the frankly weird on every street corner on Carnival Saturday night in central town.
