The Association of Friends of the Sahara has launched a new campaign in Calasparra to collect shoes, clothes, blankets and other household items for the people of Sahara who are victims of recent flooding.
Spokesperson for the Association, Esperanza Garcia, told Radio Calasparra that people in the Sahara has lost everything due to recent flooding in the area and urgently needed help.
All donations can be taken to the Nuevo Pozo Community Centre in the mornings.
The donations will be distributed by caravans which travel through different areas of the Sahara as part of the annual Peace Programme.
