There are clusters of new contagions all over Spain causing the national statistics for new cases to exceed 200 daily. The worst affected area is Cataluña where travel restrictions have been imposed in some areas and wearing masks will be compulsory from tomorrow outside your home, even when social distancing is possible. In Galicia there are elevated levels of infections in some coastal areas and there is some speculation about the regional elections due to be held on Sunday. Some areas of Galicia are currently in shutdown.
The Region of Murcia has some increase in cases but incidence is still relatively low with 62 new cases in the last 14 days and 26 in the last week.
