The sun may be blazing and the temperatures soaring but, as they say, time waits for no-one!! Just to prove it on Sunday the clocks go onto winter time.
In the early hours of Sunday morning, October 26, at 3am to be precise, the clocks officially go back an hour. Although most of us will probably put he clocks back when we go to bed with the comforting thought of an extra hour of sleep.
The change of hour in Spain dates back to 1974 during the first petrol crisis when various countries decided to put the cloocks forward to benefit from extra hours of light and thus cut the consumption of electricity and gas.
