It all hangs on the last game of the season for this group of young footballers pictured above: if they win at the Caverina on May 7 they will be league champions and gain promotion, if their opponents win they will take the spoils.
The Calasparra Youth Football Club has had a fantastic season and on Saturday the team meets fellow promotion hopefuls, Cehegin, in a regional derby. The game will be the decider: either Calasparra or Cehegin will take the title and, depending on the results of two other games in the league, a draw may be sufficient for Calasparra to take the crown.
Hopefully all Calasparra´s football fans will fill the Caverina to cheer these plucky youngsters on to secure the title.
