The regional government of
Murcia has authorised a total de 3,253.638 euros for the installation of photovoltaic
plants at the 12 sewerage treatment plants in the region, including Calasparra.
These clean energy plants, to be installed over the next year, will save around
22% of electricity currently used in the 12 treatment centres and will reduce
emissions of CO2 by 950 tons annually.
