There will be a mass at the Merced Church this evening, Monday, at 8pm for 48 parishioners.
The local parish priest, José Manuel Martínez Rosique, made the announcement today on Radio Calasparra.
However, churches may only operate at 30% capacity, approximately 48 people, and the use of masks is obligatory.
He told listeners that eight weddings, 60 communions, 30 baptisms and various confirmations had been cancelled during the State of Alarm.
The churches must be completely disinfected after every mass.
The priest called on church goers to exercise responsibility and respect for the safety measures and limitations on numbers.
