A local association, Cat Friendly, is calling a meeting for anyone who is concerned, or feeds and cares for cat colonies in the streets of Calasparra.
This charitable organisation seeks to unite everyone concerned about the plight of these animals in one voice and to share legal information and useful advice to contribute to the well being of cats living on the streets of our town.
The meeting will be held in the Parque La Daya – Prudencia Rosque on Sunday December 17 at 4.30pm.
Cat Friendly is an association for the defence of street cats in Calasparrra. It is principally a pressure group formed encourage the local authority to honour their obligations to care for cat colonies under the new Animal Well Being Legislation, including neutering. The Association does not have facilitites to take in and care for stray cats but will being pressure on the local authority to provide this.
Anyone interested in the welfare of these animals please come to the meeting: there is power in numbers!!!
Both Spanish and Englush speakers are invited. There will be transalations of all Spanish content, oral and written.
