The maddest night of the carnival celebrations is on the horizon and all over Calasparra people are putting the final touches to their fancy dress for the big parade and big prizes on Saturday night.
In a change to the normal route the parade will start from Calle Higinio Garcia at 10pm, along the Avenida Juan Ramón Jiménez to the Plaza de la Corredera, passing through the Convento, than onto the Gran Via and at the arches it will turn around and stop at the Plaza Emilio Pérez Piñero, for the judging and prize giving.
First prize is 200€; second is 100€; and third is 75€.

On Sunday celebrations at the OAPs Club at 7pm will bring the carnival to an end.
